Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted a seminar on “Naxal-free India”—held under the “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat” initiative to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. We celebrate this as National Unity Day.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, and the VC Dr KK Dave inaugurated the event by offering flowers on the portrait of Sardar Patel.
ProVC, Dr. Manas Ranjan; renowned poet, Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi; and the Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, joined them to unveil the National Unity Day function.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri reiterated Sardar Patel, the ‘architect’ of India’s national unity and integrity, brought together 562 princely states—which had been fragmented during British colonial rule—under a single tricolor, demonstrating the true meaning of freedom and national integrity.
Pro-chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted that in the history of an independent India, there was no contemporary figure who possessed the same strength of will or administrative discipline as Sardar Patel.
VC Dr KK Dave affirmed that the youth of the nation should draw inspiration from Sardar Patel’s life—embodying steadfastness, discipline, and patriotism—and integrate his nationalist ideals into their lives.
