SVU School of Law & Jurisprudence programs are approved by BAR Council of India and Recognized by UGC.

SVU under VGI endeavors to create lawyers for the 21st century who are not only competent in core areas but are experts in cyber laws too. SVU under VGI strives to provide justice to all sections of society by inculcating the spirit of Justice for All in its teaching. Taking a clue from Gandhi’s mission to safeguard the rights of Indians in South Africa, the institute inculcates truth, dedication, commitment & presentation in its teaching.

The college has infrastructure comprising Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, AV aids along with podiums for effective presentation.

PROGRAMS OFFERED BY SCHOOL OF LAW AND JURISPRUDENCE

Programs	Duration (year/semester)	Eligibility
B.A.LL.B.	5 years (10 Semesters)	Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying or higher examination for General Category shall be 45%, for OBC 42% and for SC/ST 40%. Fraction shall not be rounded up to the minimum percentage herein before provided for
LLB.	3 years (6 Semesters)	Minimum percentage of marks in the Degree course ( graduation) in any discipline for Three years' LL.B. course,for General Category shall be 45%, for OBC 42% and for SC/ST 40%.
LL.M.	2 years (4 Semesters)	LLB/B.L. Degree/5 yrs LLB Degree course under 10+2+5 from any recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to SC/ST candidates.
Ph.D.		As per UGC Regulation 2016.
