Gandhi Jayanti

Venkateshwara Group of Institutions Meerut & the Gajraula Campus celebrated Gandhi Jayanti 2022 by organizing over a dozen programs.

The management pledged the students to contribute towards a drug fee India, vocal for local & clean India Green India mission.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, VC Prof. P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the Meerut Campus director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated Gandhi Jayanti celebrations by flowering the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.

In his address, Dr. Sudhir Giri reiterated Gandhi is not just a person or personality but a nationalist ideology. Nationalism & Gandhism complement each other.

By following the principles of Gandhi, India practices peace, harmony & universal brotherhood & emerged as an undisputed global leader.

Further, Dr Rajiv Tyagi asserted by toiling the path of truth & nonviolence Gandhi ousted the white oppressors & became a role model for the world.

Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, Prof. P K Bharti, Dr. Piyush Pandey, & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh also addressed the gathering.

On this occasion we organized an interdepartmental debate on Say yes to life no to drugs, a tree plantation drive, cleanliness drive, awareness rally against drug abuse, & complete use of Indian & Khadi fabric.

We administered an oath of drug free India to the students & staff of the institution.
