A write up that highlights the different reasons to become a teacher.

Why do you want to become a teacher?

I want to become a teacher because I want to nurture the future of the country that will comprise critical thinkers, problem solvers, & decision takers.

We all agree that a teacher teaches all other professions. Hence, teachers have a responsibility to impart futuristic skills that enable learners to gain meaningful employment and lead a comfortable life.

Teachers should be knowledge seekers because, with developments in science & technology, students require expert mentorship.

The teacher is the torch bearer because they foster the development of experts in any field.

I want to become a teacher because I want to rear expert doctors, engineers, Nuclear Scientists who will steer the nation on the path of success.

I am very concerned about the country’s development, so I want to promote advanced skills that will help us earn foreign exchange.

Skills have overtaken degrees because firms want people who can get the job done. Hence, I want to become a teacher who can impart competencies that have a good demand in the job market.

I want to become a teacher because I want to educate underprivileged children who cannot afford private schools and don’t have access to fancy gadgets. They are ones who have a strong desire to study and improve their living standard.

I want to become a teacher in order to facilitate the cultivation of abilities that lead to the professional & holistic development of the learners.

By teaching a topic for years, teachers maintain supremacy over the topic. This should enable them to break the topic in easy language for easy grasping by the learners.

In the age of AI enabled learning & YouTube, teachers should differentiate themselves by coming to the level of students so that they understand the topic well.

Why do you want to become an admired teacher?

Students like teachers who empathize & teach topics in a manner that is easy to understand. A good teacher is one who may not be highly knowledgeable but presents topics for easy grasping for the students.

Parents who could not gain formal education because of socio-economic reasons want their children to gain the best education. There only hope are the teachers who can present the topic in easy language for their wards to understand.

When these children win laurels in competition, they credit educators who cleared their doubts & made the topic crystal clear.

Their blessings embolden the teacher because he empowered them to pass the exam through excellent teaching.

I aspire to be the teacher that my students will admire for clearing their doubts and helping them succeed in their dream exams.
