World Health Day

Venkateshwara Group of Institutions/VIMS organized a seminar Health for Universe on the occasion of the World Health Day.

Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, VC Dr P K Bharti, Dr N K Kalia, DR S S Thakur, Dr B N. Singh inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp at the Dr C V Raman Central auditorium.

In his address, Dr Sudhir Giri said that VIMS is committed to offer affordable world class medical facilities to the rural, remote & backward regions of the country.

We cured over 5000 patients free of cost during the frightening first & second Corona wave with the lowest deaths in the country.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi asserted that health is not the responsibility of government or institution but of every individual on its own.

Dr N K Kalia, Chief medical Superintendent & Keynote speaker, stated that Our Planet our health means that if you keep our environment healthy, it will keep us healthy.

Doctor SS Thakur highlighted that as per WHO Cancer, Diabetes & pandemics are responsible for over 13 million deaths yearly because of overexploitation of nature.

Its customary at Venkateshwara Group to celebrate every event with full fanfare because it allows students understand the significance of any occasion held.

The Doctors & students organized a health awareness rally to aware people about health & gave them tips for staying healthy.

Those present on world health day included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Sachi Ahlawat, Dr Ana Brown, Dr Dipali Gupta, Dr Mahantesh, Dr Amitesh, Dr Ravi Shastri, Dr Atul Verma, & Dr B B Bora.
