Mega Blood donation Camp
Venkateshwara multispecialty hospital VIMS, along with the Jubilant Bhartiya foundation, organized a 2 day mega blood donation camp.
In the mega blood donation camp, 142 volunteers donated blood & pledged to save life.
Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Jubilant Director Mr. Sunil Dixit, VC Prof. P K Bharti, Finance Officer Suresh Gupta & the CMS Dr N K Kalia were present.
They inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & addressed the noble gathering.
In his address, Dr Sudhir Giri said that the poor can now avail free of cost medical facilities of Rs 5 Lakhs at government, VIMS & other private medical colleges.
He said the GOI’s Ayushman Bharat & PM’s Swasthya Yojana schemes are doing a commendable work in this regard.
They can undergo various operations & avail free of cost medical treatment under these schemes.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi mentioned that if every healthy person donates blood twice a year, we can save over 2 million deaths in India because of road accidents.
Doctor Sunil Dixit voiced that Venkateshwara group is doing a virtuous work by offering affordable world class medical facilities to the people of western UP.
Dr N K Kalia announced that there is ample blood available with VIMS blood bank & the needy can get blood whenever in need.
Those present on the occasion included Dr Awadhesh Sharma, Dr Sujinder Phogat, Dr Nitin Singh, Dr G Mahantesh& Dr Deepak Agarwal.
Dr Ikram Elahi, Dr Priyanka Thakur & Dr Subhash Mishra graced the occasion with their presence.
Noticeable with their presence were Meerut Campus Director Dr Prabhat Srivastava & Dr Alka Singh because they are vital.
Also present were Dr Abhishek, Dr Prateek Bajwa, Dr Geeta, Dr Sachi Ahlawat & the Media In charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among a hundred others.
Venkateshwara group organizes such camps because saving lives is the biggest human service.
