The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions in Meerut hosted a sports competition on its premises. Students of education, BPharma, Dpharma, BBA, BCA and BAB.Ed took part in the sports event. The competition comprised tug of war and fun games.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the tug of war and fun games event by having a formal introduction with players.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that games not only make a person strong, self-confident and competent but also nurture their physical, mental and character development.
Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi stated that the Indian players are now fully dedicated to their game to pursue their passion. Through their focus, hard work, dedication and determination, they have established themselves as respected figures in the society. All students should spare some time each day for games.
Moreover, the Campus Director Dr. Pratap Singh emphasized that passionate players with team spirit and support for their teammates become great sports persons.
In the men’s tug-of-war event, the BBA team defeated the B Pharma team to claim the 1st spot. In the women’s tug-of-war match, the BABEd team outperformed the BCom team to take 1st place, while the BCom team secured 2nd place.
The women’s team dominated all the events in the Fun Games comprising Musical Chairs, Lemon and Spoon, Triple Leg Race, and Sac race . Finally, the officials felicitated the winners by gifting medals and trophies.
Those present included the Education Director, Dr BC Dubey, Dean Dr Rahul Sharma, Principal Dr Nitin Raj Verma, Deepak Kumar, Brajpal Singh, Abhinav Rana, Gaurav, Arun Sharma, Pooja Sharma and Ravi Kumar.
Moreover, Naman, Rishabh, Himanshu, Archana, Ritu, Ravi Kumar, Ashish, Rohit, Ankit, Kuldeep Yadav, Neeraj Saini, Vinay Gurudev and the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana were all present.
