Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted a grand Kavi Sammelan titled “Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani” to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025.

A dozen renowned poets and literary figures recited excellent patriotic poetry that made the audience teary-eyed.

Many renowned poets, literary figures and Ms Harminder Kaur, sister-in-law of Kargil Martyr Arvind Singh, recited patriotic poetry to pay homage to the Kargil Warriors.

Dr. Sudhir Giri, Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, along with BJP Regional GS Vikas Agarwal, Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, District Head Udaygiri Goswami, and BJYM Chairperson Shubham Chaudhary, honored poets and the families of martyrs by presenting them with Patkas, turbans, and mementos. We also gifted them a Tulsi plant and body cloth.

We also honored Ms. Anshu Chaudhary, who won a gold medal at the 2025 World Police Games in the USA.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the BJP Regional GS Vikas Agarwal inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The District Head Udaygiri and the VC Dr KK Dave joined them to unveil Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani, Grand Kavi Sammelan.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated there is no love greater than a nation’s love and there is no religion greater than national religion.

Mr. Vikas Agarwal asserted National service doesn’t mean that everyone has to fight at the border. Doing excellent work in one’s domain and contributing towards a corruption-free Developed India also comes under national service.

Youth Poet Safar Amrohi started the grand kavi Sammelan and recited- ’ए जिन्दगी तेरा हर इम्तिहान कबूल है, मैं जुनून से जीता हूँ, यही मेरा उसूल है।’’

The Program Coordinator and renowned poet Dr Rahul Awasthi recited- ’’ख्याले इश्क जम्मू की सुगढ जागीर जैसा है, जिगर का दर्द पर झेलम नदी के नीर जैसा है। हमारा कारगिल सा दिल, तुम्हारा दिल कराची सा, हमारा प्यार भारत पाक में कश्मीर जैसा है and garnered a lot of applauds.

Moreover, renowned Poet Dr Madhu Chaturvedi dedicated her poetry to Kargil Martyr Vijayant Thapar and said- ’’लौटकर आऊंगा यह सोचकर हू चला, पर सफर तो सफर राह मत देखना। आ सका तो मिलूंगा दोबारा तुम्हे, पर मिलन के सपन आह मत देखना।’ made the audience wipe off tears from their eyes.

The Program Chairperson Poet Yatindra Kataria sang- समक्ष लक्ष्य एक था, अनेक विघ्न भी, रुके डरे थमे नही माँ भारती के लाल सभी। पहाड़ फाड वह बढे, मगेन्द्र से दहाडते, समुन्द्र तुल्य झूमते, कुविघ्न राशि ताडते।’ that mesmerized the audience further. ’

Senior Poet Dr Shashi Tyagi recited- ’यू आँसू ना बहा मैने कुर्बानी दी है, देश के चैनो अमन शीश निशानी दी है।’’ which made the audience teary eyed.

Harsh Amrohi recited- ’शाम ओ गम में दिल लगाने का बहाना सीखिये, जिन्दगी हसने ना दे, तो मुस्कुराना सीखिये.’ made the event memorable.

Many high-ranking university officials and renowned dignitaries attended the grand kavi sammelan marking Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025.
