Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut in collaboration with Airtel & Vodafone, organized a campus placement drive under the Government’s Digital India Skill India campaign.
Over 400 students from Gajraula & Meerut campuses took part in the drive because we strive for student’s placement.
After enduring three rounds of interview the company shortlisted 80 candidates & distributed them offer letters.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & the VC Prof P K Bharti congratulated the selected candidates & wished them a bright future.
They shortlisted for CCE, CCM, FOE & Customer relationship Manager Profiles.
On receiving the job offers, students were happy & admired Venkateshwara Group for excellent job training.
In the current academic year, we have placed 793 students through campus placement drives.
Dr Sudhir Giri, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Prof P K Bharti & the company representatives inaugurated the Campus Placement Drive by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Senior Manager Hemant Singh & the HR manager Salil Jain of HR Pan India Company & Prashant Singh of Airtel gave offer letters to the selected candidates.
In his address, Dr Sudhir Giri stated that despite global recession & the Corona Pandemic there are plenty of job opportunities for the skilled professionals because skills help in getting the job.
Likewise, through quality education & skill development, Venkateshwara students are attaining success all over the world.
Further, through the Prime Ministers Digital India, Make in India & Skill India welfare schemes, the country is progressing on the path of development.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi informed that by providing quality education & industry exposure approx. 800 students of IT, Engineering, Nursing, Paramedical, Management & health sector from both Gajraula & Meerut campuses have got jobs in the last 1 year.
Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut Campus director Dr Pratap Singh, Director Academics Rakesh Yadav, Director Placement Dr Anil Jaiswal & Alka Singh.
