After 12 can we do BEd – one cannot do B.Ed but can pursue integrated BABEd or Bscbed courses after passing 12th.

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE approved these courses). NCTE is the governing body that regulates teacher education in the country.

So, those aspiring to pursue a teaching qualification after 12th can pursue integrated BABEd or Bscbed courses that are of 4 years comprising 8 semesters.

In order to make teaching courses popular after class 12th, NCTE introduced BABEd and BSCBed courses that allow students to enroll in teaching courses right after passing class 12th.

So, students desirous of pursuing a teaching qualification after passing class 12th should enroll in integrated BABEd or Bscbed courses.

Bed after 12th How Many Years

After 12th, BABEd or Bscbed are of 4 years duration because they are integrated courses offering dual degrees of BA/BSc and B.Ed together. Many institutions conduct written test while many shortlist candidates based on their 12th class marks.

Can I do B.Ed after 12th Science?

After 12th science, one can pursue BScBEd or BABEd, which are integrated BEd courses after class 12th. NCTE has streamlined education courses after 12th by launching BABEd and BSc BEd courses.  

Can I do B.Ed after 12th Arts?

After 12 can we do BEd. After 12th Arts, one can pursue BABEd which is a 4 years integrated course offering dual degrees of BA and B.Ed together.

This allows an aspirant to pursue an education degree right after passing class 12th. Therefore, BABEd is a wonderful option after Class 12th because it allows arts students to enroll in a teaching course right after Class 12th.

Students interested in pursuing a teaching qualification after class 12 can enroll in a 4-year integrated BABEd/BSCBed course.

After 12 can we do BEd – B.Ed Eligibility

Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates and eligible for UPJEE B.Ed Counseling.

So the eligibility clarifies that one should be a graduate or postgraduate to pursue a B.Ed.

B.Ed after 12th how many years

After 12 can we do BEd. As already mentioned, one cannot do B.Ed after 12th but can pursue integrated BABEd/Bscbed which are of 4 years duration after passing class 12th.

B.Ed Course Fees

B.Ed course fees in government colleges is less than private ones because the former receives grants from the government.

In order to get a college with subsidized fees, one should score well in the B.Ed entrance exams conducted by various states.
