The most suitable course after B.Ed is M.Ed. because it offers specialization in the domain of education.

Master of Education (M.Ed.) is a postgraduate degree program which readies the candidates for teaching roles in B.Ed colleges, principals, education researchers, curriculum developers & the likes.

Moreover, students can also pursue MPhil, MA in education, MBA, LLB or even PhD if they possess a Post graduate degree.

After a few years of experience, teachers can augment their qualification by pursuing M.ed which is of 2 years running into 4 semesters.

The M.Ed. curriculum includes advanced study in educational research methods, educational leadership, curriculum design, and educational policy.

To get a Govt. job, candidates should clear the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or state TET, which is mandatory for applying for government teaching jobs.

Candidates should also keep a tab for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) teacher recruitment drive because they advertise 6000 plus teacher vacancies every year.
