Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI in collaboration with the Kickboxing Federation of India will popularize kickboxing. Further we will nurture national & international players of kickboxing under the Khelo India Jeeto India campaign.

This is apart from the quality education that SVU provides because we foster the holistic development of the students.

Under the campaign, we will provide free training to players shortlisted through trails.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor SVU & the AVP of the Kickboxing Federation of India, along with Mr. Santosh Agarwal President KFI, shared this information at the launch of the Khelo India–Jeeto India campaign.

The President of the Vako India Kick boxing federation & former international player Mr. Santosh Agarwal received a rousing reception on his arrival at the University campus.

After receiving the nod from the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, we will organize a 3 day kick boxing event from Jan 12th marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand also called the Youth festival.  

Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group has promised to extend full support for nurturing national & international players because he promotes holistic development of the students.

In his address, Dr. Sudhir Giri reiterated Venkateshwara Group will nurture national & international players of kickboxing.

Mr. Santosh Agarwal stated that Venkateshwara support for promoting sports, especially for girls along with quality education, is an inspiration for other institutes to follow.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi informed that the Venkateshwara Group is training students, especially girls, for national & international sporting events by partnering with various sporting institutions. This is apart from the quality education we provide at our institutions.

Khelo India Jeeto India campaign was well received

Those present included the In-charge VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr S N Sahu, Dr C P Kushwaha, Dr Umesh, Dr Vivek Sachan, Dr Ana Brown & Dr Yogeshwar Sharma.

Noticeable with their presence was the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, Alka Singh, Brajpal Singh, Deepak Kumar, Abhinav Rana, Arun Goswami, S S Bagel, Dr Raj Vardhan & Devpratap.

Also, making their presence felt were Dr Mohit Sharma, Maroof Chaudhary, Vishal Sharma, Vikas Bhatia, Pradeep Sharma, Pritpal & the Media In charge, Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
