Blood donation camp

On the birthday occasion of our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, VIMS in collaboration with UP Govt & Health & family Welfare dept. GOI organized a mega Blood donation camp at its premises.

The blood donation camp saw the volunteers wholeheartedly donating blood, which lead to the collection of over 200 units of blood.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Guest former MP Kanwar Singh, MLA Mr. Rajiv Tarara, DM Mr. B K Tripathi, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi along with the SP Mr. Aditya Lange inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati.

The Chief Medical Superintendent Dr N K Kalia assisted them in the inauguration ceremony.

The SDM Mr. Bhagwandas, Kanwar Singh, Hari Singh Dhillon, Mahindra Khandwanshi, DM Mr. Rishi pal Nagar, CMO Dr Rajiv Singhal, and the District President BJP Youth wing Shubham Chaudhary celebrated the PM’s birthday by offering cake on his portrait.

Further, the Chief Guest Mr. Kanwar Singh said on the PM’s birthday the best gift one can offer is by donating blood which will save many lives. That’s why Blood donation is the biggest donation of all.   

Likewise, Mr. Rajiv Tarara informed that because of awareness about blood donation people actively donate blood, leading to its ample availability in blood banks.

Moreover, Dr Sudhir Giri informed we can judge the significance of blood donation from the fact that we cannot manufacture it in factories. Hence, it’s the ultimate donation of all.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi reiterated that by donating blood regularly we not only serve humanity but also save ourselves against heart attack & many other diseases.

Lastly, Dr N K Kalia stated there is a requisite amount of blood available at the VIMS blood bank & the needy can take it whenever they need.

Blood donation camp had a mega gathering

Those present included the VC Prof. P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, Alka Singh, S S Baghel, Arun Goswami, Gurdayal Katiyar, J P Singh, and Sanjiv Rai.

Also present were Bhupendra, Vijay, DNS Polin, Fahreen Khan, Priyanka Chaudhary, Pritpal & the Media in charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
