Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI & the Ministry of Ayush GOI collaborated to organize the Yoga for Youth Fortnight.
Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI, Ministry of Ayush GOI, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga & the Vivekananda Institute of Yoga Delhi collaborated to organize the Yoga for Youth Fortnight.
The Yoga for youth fortnight is currently ongoing and will continue until June 21 (International Yoga Day) with famous yoga practitioners, diplomats & public representatives taking part.
This event is being telecasted live to the PMO in New Delhi.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, CG & Director of Vivekananda Yoga Institute Dr Vikramaditya, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, and Dr Ashish Singh from Ayush inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Acharya Swami Vikramaditya exhibited various yoga postures & gave tips to stay healthy.
The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated India is a country of youth. Through Yoga, meditation and youth power, India is on track to become a world leader.
Moreover, Dr Vikramaditya asserted Yoga has been the historical legacy of India. With the efforts of the honourable PM’s Yoga has received its true worth & international recognition.
Besides, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro chancellor, stated that famous national & international yoga experts will take part in the 2 week yoga event.
Among those present were the VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Ana Brown, Dr SN Sahu, Dr CP Kushwaha Dr Vivek Sachan, Dr ram Kumar, Abhinav Giri & Dr Yogeshwar Sharma.
Also present were Dr Anil Kumar, Kaushal Gupta, Dr Uma Mishra, Dr Charu Agarwal, Priyanka Sirohi, Arun Goswami, Vivek Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Abhishek Jain, SS Baghel & Suman Kaur.
Also marking their presence were Pratibha, Himani, Anusha Karnwal, Pooja Kumari, Pooja, Reena, Rinki Sharma, Dr Varsha Yadav, Sheelbhadra, Sanjeev Rai, Gurdayal Katiyar & Lallu Singh.
Noticeable with his presence was the Meerut Campus director Dr Pratap Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Vijay Kumar, Mukesh Joshi, Rakesh Kumar & the Media In charge Mr. Vishwas Rana.
