Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute along with VGI Meerut hosted a grand Poetry Seminar and Literature Award Ceremony” on the occasion of World Hindi Day.

Renowned poets and litterateurs expressed their complete faith in our national language.

They delivered excellent performances to honor Hindi and emphasized the importance of working, communicating, and doing business in our mother tongue.

On this occasion, the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, along with the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, honoured over 2 dozen poets & litterateurs with a shawl & memento.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, VC Dr Krishan Kant Dave & internationally acclaimed renowned Poet Dr Madhu Chaturvedi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Dr Yatindra Kataria, Mrs. Shashi Tyagi, along with Dr Yogendra Nath Sharma ‘Arun’ joined them to unveil the Poetry Seminar and Literature Award Ceremony marking World Hindi Day.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated China & Japan are live examples of nations who work & trade in their mother tongue & have reached the pinnacle of glory. Therefore, we should start the tradition of working in our national language Hindi & accord due respect to this language.

Moreover, the Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, asserted Hindi is the crown of Mother India. Let’s all work to make Hindi popular all over the world.

Renowned Poet Dr Madhu Chaturvedi sang the inaugural poetry as उम्र भर हमने ऐसे कसाले जिये, तम निगलते रहे पर उजाले दिये, प्यास में आँसुओ का रसायन मिला, तृप्ति के घट तुम्हारे हवाले किये. Her heart touching poetic lines made the audience clap incessantly.

The Pro Chancellor & renowned litterateur Dr Rajeev Tyagi showcased his poetic skills like एक हिन्दी टीचर मेरी वाइफ को हिन्दी सिखाने लगी, उनसे ज्यादा हमें भाने लगी which made the audience burst into laughter.

Poet, Dr Yatindra Kataria who is honoured with State Language Award spoke these lines about Hindi- सात समुन्द्र पार है हिन्दी, भारत की जयकार है हिन्दी, विश्व पटल पर बढ़ती जाती, भारत का विस्तार है हिन्दी ।”

While Mr. Rajesh Saraswat recited “लोग कहते है कि तू अब भी खफा है मुझसे, पर तेरी आँखो ने तो कुछ और ही कहा है मुझसे ।”

Likewise, senior litterateur, Dr Yogendra Nath Sharma ‘Arun’ said “शिकवा करने गये थे, इबादत सी हो गयी, तुझे भूलने की जिद थी, पर तेरी आदत सी हो गयी । which further mesmerized the audience.

Dr Gopal Narsen, Dr Anjana Vyas, Senior Poet Shashi Tyagi, Rekha Rani, senior poet Dr Rajesh Saraswat, Dr Indurani, & Aakrash Tyagi also addressed the Poetic seminar.

Those present included the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, RS Sharma, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, DP Singh, Dr LS Rawat, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Rajwardhan and Dr Ramesh Chaudhary.

Moreover, Dr Rahul, Dr Om Prakash, Dr Ashwin Saxena, Dr Ram Kumar, Dr Mohit Sharma, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Anil Jaiswal, Maroof Chaudhary, Arun Goswami, Rajiv Singh, Vishal Sharma & SS Baghel were all present.

The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.

Dr Snehlata Goswami conducted the seminar very well & Shree Ram Gupta did excellent reporting for the event.
