Women’s Excellence Award Ceremony

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute concluded the 4 day (March 8-11) women’s excellence award ceremony 2024 with full fanfare and fervour.

The Venkateshwara Group organized the women’s excellence award ceremony 2024 to mark the International Women’s day on March 08.

Through street shows & poetry recitation, students depicted women’s empowerment that made the event memorable.

The focus of the street play was the prohibition of female infanticide.

We honored 132 women achievers with a Patka, turban & a memento for doing exemplary work in their field.

The Hon’ble Founder President of Venkateshwara Group Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.  

The VC, Dr AK Shukla & the Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, joined them to unveil the women’s excellence award closing ceremony.

Dr. Sudhir Giri, the Founder President, highlighted that the President of India, Her Excellency Madam Draupadi Murmu, reinforces the fact that women hold top positions in India.

Through the honorable PM’s Bet Bachao – Beti Padhao–Beti Khilao & Nari Vandan schemes, the stature of women in our society has improved.

Women took on leadership roles and had prime seating during the 4-day women’s excellence award function, as directed by the Founder President. While their male counterpart’s bolstered women’s empowerment by assisting them & occupied back rows.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted through the honorable PM’s Bet Bachao – Beti Padhao–Beti Khilao & other women’s empowerment schemes, the women are making their presence felt in every sphere.

Further, Sakshi Malik, Nirmala Sitharaman, Late Kalpana Chawla, & Saina Nehwal are a testimony of this revolution.   

Many women achievers felicitated during the women’s excellence award ceremony

Those felicitated included Dr Ana Erik Brown (Nursing), Dr Divya Girdhar (Journalism), Dr Sachi Ahlawat (Medicine), Dr Rehana (Gynae), & Dr Prachi Tyagi (Gynae).

Dr Aprajita (Medicine), Dr Varsha Yadav(Physics), Dr Shilpi Sharma (Pharmacy), Dr Shweta Gupta (Agriculture), Azha Khan (International sports person), Dr Jyoti Singh (Agriculture) & Dr Shraddha Pandey (Applied Science).

Moreover, Dr Aishwarya Singh was commended for her notable achievements in Applied Science, whereas Dr Pavanjeet Kaur was acknowledged for her contributions to chemistry.

Those present included the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, CEO Dr HP Singh, CFO Mr. Vikas Bhatia, Dr Rakesh Sharma, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Om Prakash Gosai & Dr Rahul Kumar.

Further, Ashwini Kumar Saxena, Dr Ram Niwas Sharma, Dr Sarvnand Sahu, Dr LS Rawat, Dr Mohit Sharma Arun Kumar Goswami, Hospital Manager Mr MA Chaudhary, SS Baghel, Maroof Chaudhary, Vikas Shrivastava were all present.

Moreover, the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh was present & also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
