Shri Venkateshwara University hosted the Venkateshwara Youth Festival 2026 with full enthusiasm, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
During the 2 day youth festival, we will organize over half a dozen cultural programs, including a run for unity, a cultural event, blood donation camp and a seminar on–Vivekananda the flag bearer of Indian culture.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the VC Prof. KK Dave inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati and by offering flowers on the portrait of Vivekananda Ji.
Moreover, Finance Director Yuvraj Singh and the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to unveil the Venkateshwara Youth Festival 2026.
Today on day one we organized a Run for Unity, a traffic awareness rally and a blood donation camp to put forth the message of world peace. The youths voluntarily donated over 122 units of blood in the blood donation camp.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that Swami Vivekananda was a youth inspiration who got the Indian culture recognized on the world stage.
Moreover, he exhorted the youth to follow Swamiji’s ideals and dedicate themselves to nation building. We can describe him as a great man.
Pro-Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted that the proponent of world peace, Swami Vivekananda, was a brand ambassador of the Indian Knowledge system whose thoughts are relevant even today. Swamiji presented India’s image as a world leader in front of Western countries, which enhanced the country’s image. No doubt Swami Vivekananda Ji is a youth icon.
Moreover, Dr Madhu Chaturvedi affirmed that Swami Vivekananda promoted the rich Indian culture and traditions all over the world. He informed that even in adverse conditions, through hard work and struggle, the youth can contribute towards nation building. Dr Madhu Chaturvedi is Chairperson, Cultural Cell, Shri Venkateshwara University.
Those present included the advisor RS Sharma, Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Om Prakash Gosai, Dr Ashwini Saxena, Dr Ana Erik Brown and Dr Manish Sharma.
Moreover, Dr Manjari Rana, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Anjali Bhardwaj, Dr Thomas, Dr SK Shrivastava, Dr Snehlata Goswami, Dr Rajwardhan Singh, Dr Shilpa Raina, Dr Shri Ram Gupta, Vishal Sharma, Harpreet Kaur, Juhi and Anjali.
Also present were Arun Goswami and Maroof Chaudhary. From the Meerut campus, the Operations Director, Dr Pankaj Kumar, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
