Shri Venkateshwara University marked the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by organizing the Venkateshwara Youth Festival 2024.
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary by inaugurating the Venkateshwara Youth Festival 2024.
Swami Vivekananda is a youth inspiration, an era pioneer who showcased rich Indian culture to the entire world.
The 3 day Venkateshwara Youth festival 2024 will comprise over a dozen events, including blood donation camp, sports events, cultural events, traffic awareness, women empowerment, etc.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Additional DM, Mr. Surendra Singh, & the Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati & by offering flowers on the portrait of Swami Ji.
The first day comprised the Unity race, traffic awareness rally, blood donation camp and tug-of-war events.
Dr. Sudhir Giri, the Group Chairman, stated that Swami Vivekananda made the world aware of India’s rich cultural heritage and positioned it as a global leader. He encouraged youth to follow his ideals and contribute towards nation service.
Moreover, the Additional DM, Mr. Surendra Singh, stated Swami Vivekananda propagated the message of Indian culture all over the world.
Besides, the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi affirmed Swami Ji was the only person who presented India as a world leader to the westerns & made the country proud.
No doubt he is rightly called Youth Icon. We should all follow his path of peace, brotherhood, & world unity to become a world leader.
Those present included the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, Consultant Mr. RS Sharma, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, COE Dr. Mohit Sharma, Dr Divya Girdhar & Dr Tejpal Singh.
Moreover, Dr Anil Jaiswal, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Om Prakash Gosai, Dr Rahul Kumar, Dr Ashwin Kumar Saxena, Dr Ram Niwas Sharma, Dr Sarvnand Sahoo, Dr Ana Brown, Dr LS Rawat, Dr SS Baghel were all present.
