UP Roll Ball Championship 2025

The 3-day, 18th UP Roll Ball Championship 2025 concluded with full fanfare and fervour. Venkateshwara Group sponsored this championship, which was organized by the UP Roll Ball Association.

IIMT University Meerut hosted the championship, where over 2 dozen girls and boys’ teams took part in the event.

Dr Rajeev Tyagi was the chief guest, who is also the VP of the Kickboxing Federation of India. He had a formal introduction to the players and, after the toss, signaled the final match to start.

In the boys’ final, the Agra team defeated Moradabad 8-1 to win the trophy. Team Moradabad played well throughout the event but finished in second place.

In the girls’ final, the Meerut team defeated Ghaziabad 10-2 to become the overall champions, while Ghaziabad finished as the runners-up.

The Venkateshwara Group sponsored the UP Roll Ball Championship 2025

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri congratulated the players and reiterated that the country’s youth will play a formidable role in the Viksit Bharat campaign.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, asserted that whenever we take part in any sports competition, either we win through excellent performance or we learn where we went wrong.

There is nothing called defeat in any competition. He encouraged young people to incorporate sports into their daily lives alongside their studies. Later, the CG, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, felicitated the UP Roll Ball Championship 2025 winners by gifting them medals and trophies.

Those present included Mr. Kapil Kumar, President of the District Roll Ball Association; Chief Coach Mr. Shubham Kashyap; Venkateshwara Registrar Mr. Vikas Kaushik; Deepak Kumar; and Brajpal Singh.

Managing Manager Babita Kumar, District Secretary Akanksha Sharma, and the chairperson of UP Roll Ball Association Pilot Rakesh Tyagi were all present.

The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
