Suffering from hepatitis C

It was a day of remarkable achievement for the Venkateshwara Group. Dr Prachi Tyagi Senior Gynaecologist at Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) operated upon a woman suffering from hepatitis C.

She & her team of Doctors helped her deliver a child suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) thus saving the life of the mother & child.

For ensuring good health, we have kept the newborn at Paediatric ICU & is out of danger.  

Dr Prachi Tyagi, while elaborating on the surgery, informed that the pregnant women was admitted 3 days ago & is suffering from Hepatitis C.

Our team of Doctors performed a 3 hour long critical operation, thus saving both the mother & child. The new born is recuperating in the Paediatric ICU & is out of danger.

The team of Doctors performing the operation included Dr Prachi Tyagi, Senior Resident Dr. Shikha Srivastava, & Dr Kunika Batra.

It also included renowned Pediatricians Dr Priti Tandon, Dr Waris Bilal, Dr Rahul, Dr Tarun & Anesthesiologist Dr Awadhesh among others.

Further, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, complimented the team of Doctors performing this critical surgery.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor SVU asserted VIMS is providing cost effective, world class healthcare facilities to the people of the area.

Those congratulating the team included the Dean Medical Dr Sanjiv Bhatt, MS Dr A S Thakur, GM M A Chaudhary, Naseem Ahmed, Dr Manik Tyagi, Dr Ikram Elahi, & Dr Monika Deshwal.
