Shri Venkateshwara University celebrated PM Shri Narendra Modi's birthday by hosting many programs.
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute celebrated PM Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday by hosting over a dozen events marking Service-Fortnight from 17 to 30 September.
These events included a mega blood donation camp, tree plantation, cleanliness drive, women empowerment campaign, cake-cutting ceremony and other social and cultural events.
Moreover, students, staff, faculty members and officials of Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut launched the birthday celebration by donating blood.
Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Pro Chancellor, along with VC Dr. KK Dave, international poet Madhu Chaturvedi, and CMS Dr. Mehta, inaugurated PM Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday (Service Fortnight) by cutting a ribbon.
On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, Dr. Sudhir Giri, Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, announced that doctors and medical students will offer free treatment, medicines, fruits, and health kits to villagers throughout the year.
The Pro-Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, asserted that PM Narendra Modi is an era transformer and a charismatic world leader who has placed India ahead of other countries on the world stage.
The VC, Dr KK Dave, affirmed, let’s pledge to do excellent work in our domains and contribute our 100 percent to realize the PM’s dream of a Developed India by 2047.
Moreover, the VIMS CMS Dr Suresh G Mehta emphasized that blood donation is the greatest donation of all. Today on the birthday of our honourable PM let’s donate enough blood so that no one dies because of a lack of blood.
College management, officials, faculty, and students swept the institute grounds with brooms to promote the Clean India, Healthy India message. Further, we planted sacred Tulsi and Rudraksha plants and generously donated blood to collect 117 units of blood.
Those present included the Registrar, Dr Piyush Kumar Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Ana Erik Brown, Dr Neetu Panwar, Dr Suman Kumari and Dr Anjali Bhardwaj.
Dr Arti Gupta, Dr Vikas Kumar, Deeksha, Dr Ikram, Dr SK Singh, Dr Tejpal Singh, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Snehlata Goswami, SS Baghel, and Arun Goswami were all present. Moreover, the Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
