The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions in Meerut hosted a 5 -day Peace Education Workshop.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The workshop is part of the international Prem Rawat Foundation, which promotes personality development, emotional understanding and internal peace. The Institute dean, principal, 30 faculty members and 150 students took part in the event.

The dean, principal, 30 faculty members and 90 students received certificates for successfully attending all sessions. Moreover, this peace education workshop is as per the NEP 2020, which emphasizes life skills, self-realization and human values.

This program is now available on the GOI’s Swayam Plus portal through which educational institutions and community centres across the country can access it.

Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh appreciated the Peace Education Program and called it the need of the hour. He said this program not only inspires self-realization and self-dialogue but also fosters a positive change in self-confidence and life perspectives. This workshop has proved beneficial to our students and staff.

Dean Dr Rahul Sharma thanked the facilitators and technical team for presenting Prem Rawat’s motivational thoughts through a video and for making the workshop a tremendous success.

The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions held a Peace Education Workshop for Self Realization and Mental Peace

Principal Dr Nitin Raj Verma credited the Peace Education program with helping him realize his strengths, improve clarity and decision- making ability.

Participants called this program a life-transforming experience. Moreover, they said that for the first time they felt inner peace, self-realization and a chance to think deeply about the values of life. They called it beneficial for personality development and psychological empowerment.

This Peace Education Program was based on 10 specific topics- Peace, appreciation, inner strength, self-realization, clarity, understanding, dignity, satisfaction, hope and the direction of life. Every session included motivational videos, discourse, and self-observation activities.

The Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, and Dean Dr Rahul Sharma played a major role in making the program a tremendous success.

Later, Dr Rahul Sharma honoured the TPRF facilitator Rajeshwar Tyagi and his associates Ravindra Kumar Malik, Pritam Singh and Pooja Thakur for their valuable contribution.

Moreover, in today’s digital age, external pressures and social media can make people feel vulnerable, making the Peace Education Program more important.

Further, the program being run by the Prem Rawat Foundation helps participants know their inner strength, experience peace and develop a positive outlook towards life.

This program is running in over 84 countries, in 45 languages and, till date, lakhs of people have experienced its benefits. Moreover, this program has been highly effective in fostering personnel development and internal peace.
