Papillary Carcinoma

It was a memorable & historic day for the Venkateshwara Group. Dr Shivam Agarwal, Head of the Cancer & ENT department of Venkateshwara Multispecialty Hospital VIMS, successfully operated upon a 22 year patient suffering from Papillary Carcinoma and cured her.

Renowned hospitals of Delhi & Gurgaon referred her to VIMS after failing to recuperate her.

Dr Monika Deshwal, Spokesperson and Senior Surgeon in the ENT Department, explained that after not finding a cure at other well-known hospitals, they admitted the patient at VIMS ICU on March 24 with a severe throat swelling and difficulty breathing.

We conducted diagnosis for 2 days which revealed that the patient is suffering from lethal cancer of the throat.

Further, on diagnosing Papillary Carcinoma, Dr Shivam Agarwal along with Anesthetist Dr Awadhesh, Dr Monika Deshwal, Dr Neha Shisodiya, & Dr Rajat Kumar performed the 8 hours complex operation and gave a new lease of life to the patient.

Moreover, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri congratulated the Doctors for successfully operating upon the patient & reiterated because of the Ayushman Bharat scheme poor people will not die owing to lack of medical care & can avail free of cost medical services until INR 5 Lakhs.
