National Unity Day

On the eve of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute celebrated National Unity Day by organizing a seminar cum felicitation ceremony.

The seminar Patel is not an individual personality or a great man, but a supreme institution of unity/integrity and discipline.

Renowned speakers and educationists referred to Sardar Patel as the “Architect of United India” for his role in unifying the princely states into one nation.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, CG former Cabinet Minister & MLC UP Govt Mr. Virendra Singh, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & the Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora joined them in inaugurating the National Unity day seminar.

The Group Chairman, Dr. Sudhir Giri, emphasized that Sardar Patel showcased the true meaning of independence by uniting over 550 provinces into one nation. We rightfully known him as the architect of united India.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Virendra Singh, praised Sardar Patel as the most visionary and effective administrator in the history of Independent India.

Further, the Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, motivated students to follow Sardar Patel’s disciplined life and contribute wholeheartedly to the unity and integrity of the country.

Finally, Dr. Yatindra Kataria, President of All India Sahitya Parishad, said that Sardar Patel, the sculptor of modern India, taught people to live with dignity and pride.

The individuals present at the event were VC Dr. Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr. Piyush Pandey, member of the National Commission for Women Dr. Avani Singh, Dr. Momraj Singh who holds a Ministerial rank, and Mr. Jagat Dausa from Patanjali Yog Peeth.

The Group Advisor RS Sharma, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr LS Rawat, Dr Anil Jaiswal, DR CP Singh, Dr Tejpal Singh, Dr Raj Vardhan, Dr Rahul & Dr Om Prakash were all present.

Dr Ashwin, Dr Mohit Sharma, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, CFO Vikas Bhatia, Maroof Chaudhary, Arun Goswami, SS Baghel, Dr Ramyash Singh, Gurdayal Katiyar, and Pritpal were also present.

Noticeable with his presence was the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh and also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
