National Cyber Security Workshop 2025

Shri Venkateshwara University, along with UP Police, hosted the National Cyber Security Workshop 2025 to educate people on preventing cybercrime and dismantling the network of cyber criminals.

Over 550 participants from all over the country are taking part in the 15 day cybersecurity workshop.  

Over 2 dozen cybersecurity experts from Hyderabad, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & other cities will train on ways to prevent cybercrimes.

Participants and students studying Engineering, Cyber Management, and Cyber Law from 26 states across the country will learn effective strategies to prevent cyber fraud and impersonation.

The Chief Guest & Additional DGP of UP Police Mr. Ramit Sharma, SP Mr. Amit Kumar Anand, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

ASP Mr. Akhilesh Bhadoria, DSP Anjali Kataria & the VC Dr KK Dave joined them to unveil the National Cyber Security Workshop 2025 at Shri Venkateshwara University’s Dr CV Raman Auditorium.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri congratulated UP Police and wished all the participants a bright future.

Later the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi thanked all the dignitaries & along with the SP, Mr. Amit Kumar Anand felicitated them by gifting them mementos.

The CG, & ADGP Bareilly Zone, Mr. Ramit Sharma asserted police and cyber experts should think 10 times ahead of cyber criminals in order to curb hacking, phishing, digital arrest, malware, ransomware, & banking frauds. Then only they can prevent cybercrimes and enhance cyber security.

Program Coordinator and SP Amroha, Mr. Amit Kumar Anand, stated that the rise in cybercrimes not only affects individuals but also poses a threat to national security.

He emphasized the need for police, alert students, and voluntary organizations to work together to educate the public about preventing cyber fraud.

Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi highlighted that Shri Venkateshwara University offers over a dozen certificate courses on cyber security, digital fraud prevention, hacking, and E-commerce fraud to help people protect themselves and others from cyber fraud.

Moreover, DSP Amroha Mrs. Anjali Kataria announced that cyber experts, along with top officials of the UP Police and the University Management, will provide certificates to the participants on the concluding day of the cybersecurity workshop on June 30.

Mrs. Anjali Kataria is the Chief Coordinator of the National Cyber Security Workshop 2025.

Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Suman Kashyap, Dr Anjali Bhardwaj, Cyber Expert Manu Sharma, Dr Snehlata, Dr Vikas Pandey, Dr Amit Kumar & Diksha.
