National Civil Service Day

On the occasion of National Civil Service day, Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI felicitated the policymakers who are working for the growth of the common man & the country.

The University honored over a dozen officers of the Indian Civil Service (IAS/IPS) by presenting a memento & bouquet for their exemplary services for the nation.

On this occasion, Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group asserted SVU feels proud in felicitating the policymakers who execute development policies for the country.

He informed that Iron Man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the first Home Minister of independent India, was the first to address & honor the Civil Servants on April 21st.

Since then, from 2006 onwards, the Prime Minister honors civil servants doing exemplary work for the country. 

Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor said that Venkateshwara Group greets the respected officers who protect democracy & act as a bridge between the government & the masses by bringing them into the national mainstream. 

Many felicitated on National Civil Service Day

Those felicitated were senior IPS & Meerut IG Praveen Kumar, Divisional Magistrate Sandeep Bhogia, District Magistrate Amroha IAS Mr. Balakrishnan Tripathi, Superintendent of Police Mr. Vineet Jaiswal, and Additional District Magistrate Maya Shankar Yadav.

Apart from this, Venkateshwara Group honored over a dozen civil servants because they are doing selfless service.

Under the leadership of Dr Rajiv Tyagi, a 2 member SVU team complimented the IAS/IPS officers of Meerut, Amroha, and Baghpat & Hapur on National Civil Service day.

VGI is instrumental in contributing towards nation building because being an institution of repute we felicitate nationalists who are asset for the country.

These events inspire youngsters to indulge in nation building because youth are the power of the country.

Those present included the VC Prof P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut Campus Director Dr Prabhat Srivastava, Director of Admissions Alka Singh & Director Admin Dr Kishan Yadav.
