Multilingual Kavi Sammelan 2025

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute, along with UP Punjabi Academy Lucknow, grandly hosted a Multilingual Kavi Sammelan 2025.

Over a dozen renowned poets/Literary figures from around the country took part in the event.

They presented patriotic poetry in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and other languages that made the event memorable.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri and the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi welcomed senior litterateur and head of Guru Harkrishan Hospital Bangla Sahib Delhi Sardar Bhupendra Singh Bhullar, Chairperson of Central Hindi Institute Education Ministry GOI Prof. Umapati Dixit, Director UP Punjabi Academy Mrs. Premwati Upadhyaya, and the Chairperson of Gurukul Chotipura Dr Sumedha Didi.

The program coordinator, Dr. Parwinder Kaur Bedi, and several poets were welcomed. These included Dr. Rahul Awasthi, Dr. Chetan Anand, and Mr. Manpreet Tiwana. Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Falak and over a dozen other poets also attended.

The poets came from Delhi, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Agra, Bareilly, and Lucknow. They received shawls, mementos, Tulsi garlands, and Rudraksha plants.

Chief Guest Sardar Bhupendra Singh Bhullar, chairperson of Central Hindi Institute Education Ministry GOI Prof. Umapati Dixit, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and Acharya Sumedha Didi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Moreover, the VC Dr KK Dave, Dr Madhu Chaturvedi, renowned poet Jaspreet Kaur Falak and Dr Rahul Awasthi joined them to unveil the Multilingual Kavi Sammelan 2025.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated India’s vast and rich literature has a major role in the nation’s development journey.

Moreover, CG Sardar Bhupendra Singh Bhullar thanked Shri Venkateshwara University and UP Punjabi Academy Lucknow for this excellent event. He further stated that such events inspire our young generation to serve the nation by learning from the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh and Bhagat Singh.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted poetry of Rabindranath Tagore, Mahadevi Verma, Munshi Premchand, and Jaishankar Prasad are not just literary works but they decide the direction and fate of the country.

Dr. Sumedha Didi emphasized that the revolution of scriptures is always more powerful than that of weapons.

After Saraswati Vandana, Jaspreet Kaur Falak renowned poet of Punjab came first to recite her poetry- इह धरती मुस्काई है, कि सावन आ गया लग्दै है।झडी बादला ने लाई है, कि सावन आ गया लग्दै है’’।।

Dr Rahul Awasthi who was managing the stage well said- ’’गुरू गोविन्द सिंह का गौरव, सिखों आप फिजूलो मत। हनी सिंह को याद करो, पर भगत सिंह को भूलो मत’’।। made the audience clap incessantly.

Moreover, Parwinder Kaur Bedi recited – ’कुछ नाग महक दे बेहडे विच कुंडलिया मारे बैढे नी। कुछ फनिहर, पनिहर, बिसिहर, कुछ इच्छाधारी बैढे नी’’ ।

Renowned Punjabi poet and Singer Shri Manpreet Tiwana said- जिनां राहवां चौं तू आवें ओहना राहवां नू सलाम। तेरे शहर वललों औंदीयां हवावां नू सलाम’।। engulfed the gathering in patriotic fervour.

Further, Shri Chetan Anand recited- मोहब्बत ने खोले अंधेरो के ताले।इधर भी उजाले, उधर भी उजाले।मोहब्बत से जिसने मोहब्बत ही सीखी, उसे नफरतो से पडेगे ना पाले।। mesmerized the audience.

Director UP Punjabi Academy Madam Premwati Upadhyaya said- आज तेरा सितारा गगन चूमता, विश्व करता तुझे हाथ जोडकर नमन। क्या पता कल विभा साथ दे या ना दे, इन सितारो का कोई भरोसा नहीं’

Prof Umapati Dixit of Central Hindi Institute recited- हैरत है किसी हाथ में पत्थर भी नहीं है। महफूज मगर यहां कोई सर भी नहीं है।
