Shri Venkateshwara University launched a Mega Cleanliness drive on the main Ganga bank to put forth the message of Clean India Healthy India.
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute launched a Mega Cleanliness drive on the major bank of the river Ganges under the Clean India Green India mission.
The College Management, staff, students, and Aryan School participants took part in the cleanliness drive. They also distributed eco-friendly bags to vendors.
The aim was to promote the message of a Polythene Free India.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the Fair Officer ADM Mr. Mayashankar Yadav inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon.
Mr. Aman Lit Director the Aryan, BJYM President Mr. Shubham Chaudhary & the Principal Dr Aadesh Kumar joined them to begin the mega Cleanliness drive & Pink Booth erection ceremony on Ganga bank.
Apart from this, the students performed 3 Street plays on Cybercrime, Clean Ganga, & female Feticide to put forth the message about cleanliness & Beti Bachao Beti Padhao mission.
Moreover, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute erected 4 Pink Booths/Changing rooms where female devotees can change clothes after taking a holy dip in the Ganges river.
These Pink Booths also have mobile charging facilities solely for women devotees.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated the success of the Clean India Healthy India campaign is not the sole responsibility of the PM alone but of every citizen.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted let’s all contribute our share to make India polythene free.
Later, the students carried out a cleanliness awareness campaign on Ganga bank by holding flags in their hands.
Those present included Dr TP Singh, Dr VN Jha, Dr Ashutosh, Arun Goswami, Dr Rajwardhan Singh, SS Baghel, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Anil Jaiswal & Dr Snehlata Goswami.
The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
