Laser Surgery

The 750 bedded Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) under the aegis of Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut successfully conducted laser surgery & saved the life of the patient.

The Department of Dental & Oral Medicine, through advanced COT Laser technology, neutralized ‘Leukoplakia’- an oral cancer, saving the life of Sunil Verma a 48-year-old patient.

Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group expressed gratitude & congratulated the team of Doctors performing the lifesaving operation.

He reiterated his commitment to offering best, affordable & world class facilities to the people of Western UP because he professes affordable healthcare for all.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor informed that surgeries involving all diseases of the tooth & cavities are available at VIMS because VIMS is a multispecialty hospital.

Dr Prateek Maheshwari & Dr Mohsin Bilal, informed that if we detect cancer in early stages than through laser surgery, we can save the patient’s life.

COT Laser technology is a highly advanced surgery that is painless involving minimal blood loss.

They informed that the Department is one of the most advanced centers for all diseases & surgeries of the teeth.

The 5 member team comprises Dr Prateek Maheshwari, & Dr Mohsin Bilal of Dentistry department, Dr Awadhesh Sharma of Anesthesia, among others.
