Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute, along with VGI Meerut, celebrated International Yoga Day 2025 by hosting a grand Yoga Camp cum Felicitation function.
Yoga Trainer Krishna Kumar gave valuable Yoga tips to the students and staff and exhorted all to realize the Healthy India mission by practicing Yoga.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Guest & Teacher MLA Shri Hari Singh Dhillon & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
The Vice Chancellor, Dr Krishna Kant Dave along with others, joined them to unveil the grand Yoga Camp cum Felicitation function marking International Yoga Day 2025.
The CG Shri Hari Singh Dhillon asserted Yoga is India’s historical heritage. Because of the relentless efforts of honorable PM Narendra Modi Yoga has received international recognition which has helped Yoga regain its lost glory.
Through Yoga we not only bring improvement in personal life but also contribute our part in the nation’s development.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated India is the youth country of the world. Through Yoga, meditation and youth power, India is on the path to become a world leader.

Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi emphasized that by practicing Yoga and meditation, we can make India stress-free and a symbol of peace and universal brotherhood.
Yogacharya Krishna Kumar affirmed through Yoga and meditation, let’s make India the brand ambassador of health and universal brotherhood. Yoga and meditation are the symbols of health and cultured Indianness.
On International Yoga Day, the last day of the 1 month long Yoga Month, we felicitated Yoga Trainers and Yogacharya by gifting them Turban, Patka, and mementos.
Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Ana Erik Brown, Director Legal Dev Pratap Singh, Dr LS Rawat, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Manjari Rana, Dr Anusha Karnwal, Pooja Ary, Neema, & Dr Akhil Kumar.
Moreover, Dr. CP Singh, Dr TP Singh, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Rajwardhan, Dr Anil Kr. Jaiswal, Dr Jyoti, Dr Ram Kumar, Dr Shri Ram Gupta, SS Baghel, Mr. Sanjeev Rai, Ankita Shrivastava, Pritpal, Gurvinder were all present.
Also present were Gaurav, Sunil Bhagwania, Virendra Singh, Mr. Arvind, Mr. KP Singh, Mr. Ranjeet Singh Multani, & Mr. Nagendra Pratap Singh.
Moreover, the Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, and all nursing students, staff and teachers were present.
