International Nurses Day 2024

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute School of Nursing organized the Nurses felicitation cum Oath ceremony on the occasion of International Nurses Day 2024.  

We honoured nursing professionals & students for providing excellent medical service & pledged them to provide selfless service with full dedication.

Further, we hosted an international seminar on the Role of Nursing Professionals in health care.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, & the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava inaugurated the event by offering flowers on the portrait of Florence Nightingale & Goddess Saraswati.

The CMS Dr I B Raju, Nursing Principal Dr Ana Erik Brown, Dr Arpita Shrivastava, Dr Shweta Amber and Dr HP Singh joined them to unveil the International Nurses Day function.

On International Nurses Day 2024, over 400 nursing students celebrated Florence Nightingale’s birthday by lighting candles and pledging to deliver exceptional medical and health services.

We honoured over 250 Nurses of VIMS (Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences) with a shawl & memento for providing excellent medical services.

The students of the Venkateshwara School of Nursing made the event memorable by presenting street plays & cultural programs that were admired by all.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated nursing is the noblest profession of all.

Nurses display selfless service & dedication in the medical field. Their role in providing excellent medical & health service is no way less than doctors.

Moreover, the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted the Nursing field offers plenty of employment opportunities, both in India and abroad.

Further. the Nursing Principal Dr Ana Erik Brown affirmed the Nursing professionals play a crucial role in health care, social security, counselling & rehabilitation.  

International Seminar on the occasion of International Nurses Day 2024

Dr Rajesh of Delhi University, Dr Ana Erik Brown & Dr HP Singh also addressed the seminar on the Role of Nursing Professionals in health care.

Those present included Dr Manjari Rana, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dean Medical Dr Sanjeev Bhatt, MS Dr IB Raju, Nursing Assistant Polin, SS Baghel, Arun Goswami, Maroof Chaudhary & Akhil Nair.

Neetushree Pal, Pooja Ari, Neema, Pratibha, Sumandeep Kaur were all present.

The Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh was present & also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.

Mr. MA Chaudhary, VIMS Hospital Marketing Director, conducted the program very well.
