Inter University Games
The students of Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut bagged a dozen medals at the AIU sponsored Inter University Games held at M D University Rohtak from July 4th to 9th.
They won these medals in Kron KEDO, a Martial art & Drop Robol, a traditional Indian game.
This achievement elated Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, who congratulated the winners & wished them a bright future.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor of the university informed that over 50 private & government universities took part in the 5 days inter university games event.
In the tough final round of competitions our students grabbed 2 gold’s, 4 silvers & 6 bronze medals because they played with an enduring spirit to win the game.
Along with excellence in education, the Venkateshwara Group is carving sporting talents both at the national & international level because sports rejuvenate the mind & improves concentration.
We commit ourselves to the overall development of the students getting educated at Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut.
There was a beeline of individuals congratulating the winners of Venkateshwara Group.
Those congratulating the students included the VC Prof P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, & the Senior Consultant of VIMS Dr R N. Singh.
Those extending their warm greetings included the Director of admissions: Alka Singh, Brajpal Singh, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Rakesh Yadav, Dr Ana Brown & Dr Arun Goswami.
