Fresher’s party

Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) under the aegis of Shri Venkateshwara University organized Inception 2022, a fresher’s party for students of 21-22 by the seniors of 20-21 batch.

The students mesmerized the gathering with over a dozen cultural & entertainment programs because their performance was appreciated by all.

Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Dean Dr Atul Garg, & the Dean Academics Dr Sanjiv Bhatt inaugurated the fresher’s party by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

We held the event at the Dhyanchand Sports premises of the University because it has enough space for large gatherings.

In his address, Dr Sudhir Giri stated that their selfless dedication, service & sacrifice for their profession distinguishes Doctors from other professions because they save humanity in distress.

In the future, you will dedicatee your life to serving humanity in India or abroad. With this expectation, I welcome you to the medical field.

With your skills & dedication to a noble profession like medicine, you will set an example for the entire world because Doctors give life to the sick.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi CEO VIMS said that by maintaining the dignity of the medical field, you will give your best performance.

After this, the students entertained the gathering by presenting excellent solo & group dance performances.

Along with singing, Guitar & standup comedy, they paid tributes to doctors who sacrificed their life fighting Corona because they kept service before self.

MBBS first-year students walked the ramp doing catwalk which was admired by the guests. After this, the students danced to the gyrating beats of Punjabi, Rajasthani & Gujrati folk songs, much to the admiration of the gathering.

Fresher’s party attracted a huge gathering

They crowned Anand Mishra Mr. Fresher while the Miss Fresher 2022 crown went to Ms. Surhit Haldar of Kolkata. The seniors presented stethoscope to the incoming Junior Doctors as a gift.

Those present included the VC Prof. P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, CMS Dr N K Kalia, Dr B B Bora, Dr Ekram Elahi, Dr Shivam Agarwal, Dr Jasveer Singh & Dr Rajni Agarwal.

Noticeable were Meerut Campus Director Dr Prabhat Srivastava, Director of VGI Dr Pratap Singh, Dr Monica Deshwal, Dr Rakesh Yadav, Alka Singh, Dr Rajesh Singh, and Arun Goswami & Pritpal.

Also present were the Media In charge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
