Farmer felicitation cum Health Seminar

Shri Venkateshwara University, VIMS Multispecialty Hospital & VGI Meerut jointly hosted the Farmer felicitation cum Health Seminar 2024.

Under this program, we honored over 322 village heads & progressive farmers with a shawl & memento.

Moreover, farmers represented Amroha, Meerut, Hapur, Sambhal, Bijnor, Moradabad & other areas of UP west.

Mr. Bharat Bhushan Tyagi, the Principal Advisor to the Agriculture Ministry, GOI, was the chief guest at the event.

Further, he educated farmers on different methods to safeguard their seasonal wheat, sugarcane, and mustard crops from pests. He further elaborated the methods to double farmer’s income.

The honorable Founder President of Venkateshwara Group Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora & the VC Dr AK Shukla inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The CEO, Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to unveil the Farmer felicitation cum Health Seminar 2024.

The Venkateshwara Group, Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, India’s entire economy depends on agriculture & the food provider the farmer is its soul.

The Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, announced that our founder President, Dr. Sudhir Giri, envisions providing accessible health services to the public.

In pursuit of this goal, VIMS Multispecialty Hospital has launched the Venkateshwara Farmer Health Card, modeled after farmer’s health insurance. 

Farmer felicitation cum Health Seminar unveiled the farmer Health Card.

The Venkateshwara Health Card holders can avail all kinds of treatment, get operated on the latest machines and consult the best specialists at VIMS. Moreover, VIMS offers the most affordable healthcare services in the entire UP west.

The farmers can get their health card free of cost from the institute after showing their Aadhar card.  

Senior Agriculture Scientist, Dr Balraj Singh, Director UP Agriculture department Dr. Ramkumar, District agriculture Officer Mr. Bablu Singh, & the District Horticulture Officer Mr Pravesh Kumar also addressed the seminar.

Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Maroof Chaudhary, Arun Kumar Goswami, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Tejpal Singh, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Ayesha Wahid, Dr Mata Prasad & Dr Laxmikant.

Kaushal Kumar, Udit Tiwari, Sanjeev Pal, Sharad Chaudhary, Anand Nagar were all present.

The Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh was present & also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
