Athletics Decathlon event

The Venkateshwara Institute of Computer Science & technology (VICST) student Mr. Narendra Kumar, won gold by winning the first position in the Athletics Decathlon event held at Greater Noida.

The Noida College of Physical Education played host to the 53rd Inter colleges athletics meet wherein 2000 players took part in various events.

Further, the athletics decathlon event saw 40 colleges of CCS University taking part in the 3 day event that saw stiff competitions amongst the players.

Mr Narendra Kumar pursuing B.P.Ed. from VICST grabbed the first position in the athletics event defeating many reputed stalwarts because we provide best sporting facilities at our campus.

The college management honored the winner by rewarding him because we foster the holistic development of the students.

Further, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, complimented the winner & wished him a glorious future.

Those present included the Director of Education Dr B C Dubey, Principal Dr Sanjay Tiwari, Registrar Dr Ravi Shankar, Deepak Kumar, Abhishek Maheshwari and Ankit Choker.

Also present were Pooja Sharma, Arun Sharma, Vidisha, Priti, Sharmila Solanki, Team Manager Mr. Abhinav Rana & the Media In charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
