Asian Kickboxing Championship

It was a memorable day for the nation. Indian Kickboxers performed exceedingly well to bag 1 Gold, 3 Silvers & 20 Bronze medals at the Asian Kickboxing championship held at Bangkok from Dec 10 to 18.

In most events, Indian Kickboxers defeated their Pakistani opponents by giving excellent performance.

Neena Neelkadan won Gold in the 86 KG category, followed by Raagit Bailak (60 KG), Shivani Rajhans (68 KG) & Harsimran Singh (86 KG) winning silvers at the Asian kickboxing championship.

Further, Dr. Santosh Agarwal & the VP of Kickboxing federation Dr Rajeev Tyagi accorded a ceremonious reception to the winners at the IGI airport on Dec 19th.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Chairman of Vako Kickboxing Federation Dr. Santosh Agarwal & the VP of Kickboxing federation Dr Rajeev Tyagi, complimented the winning team on their glorious achievement.

Moreover, they reiterated their commitment to offer free of cost sporting facilities to national players for the upcoming World championship because we nurture budding talents.

Further, the Group Chairman, Dr. Sudhir Giri, reiterated that we will provide free of cost world class sporting facilities & coaches to the national/international Kickboxing players.

Moreover, Dr Rajeev Tyagi stated the nation is proud of our players & the Venkateshwara Group will work with the Kick boxing federation to popularize the game like Cricket, Kabaddi & wrestling.

Lastly, Dr Santosh Agarwal informed that for the first time Indian players have won so many medals by outclassing players from South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Pakistan, SL & others.

Compliments poured in for the winners of Asian Kickboxing Championship

Those congratulating the winners included the President of UP kickboxing federation Dr Arvind Sherwalia, CS Naman Bhardwaj, In charge VC Dr Rakesh Yadav & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey.

Noticeable with their presence were the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, Alka Singh, Brajpal Singh, Deepak Kumar, Pooja Singh, Abhinav Rana, Arun Goswami & Dr. Rajesh Singh.

Also present were Dr Vipin Kumar & the media In charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
