Advanced Farming Techniques using Vigyanic Drone Vidhi
Shri Venkateshwara University, in collaboration with IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertilizer Co. Ltd) displayed advanced farming techniques using Vigyanic Drone Vidhi.
The Venkateshwara Agriculture Research Institute along with IFFCO taught advanced farming techniques to the farmers of Meerut, Moradabad and other UP west districts.
These included using drone technology for crop surveillance, spraying pesticides in the right quantity, crop mapping, Nano urea spraying, which reduces the time and cost during crop sowing.
Moreover, we used drone farming technology to spray pesticides on a 2-acre farm and completed the task in just 10 minutes, freeing the crops of pests.
Further, we sprayed Nano urea using drones in just 6 minutes, saving valuable time, cost and effort for the farmer- the food producer of the nation.
Pro-Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, IFFCO jurisdictional officer Dr Abhit Goswami and Dr Mahkar Singh inaugurated the drone farming technology event by pressing the remote button.
