77th Republic Day

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute and VGI Meerut celebrated the 77th Republic Day by hoisting the national flag, organizing a parade and various cultural events.

Along with flag hoisting and freedom march, we conducted over a dozen events highlighting patriotic fervour.

We hoisted a 100 feet tall national flag, released white pigeons and 1000 tricolor balloons into the sky to give the message of national unity, integrity and world peace.

The Venkateshwara Group Honourable Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the VC Dr KK Dave inaugurated the event by offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati, Mother India and unfurling the national tricolor.

The Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, along with Dr Madhu Chaturvedi, joined them to unveil the 77th Republic Day function at SVU’s Dhyanchand Sports Arena.  

Later students performed enthralling group dances to patriotic songs that made the audience clap incessantly.

The Venkateshwara Group Honourable Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that abrogating Article 370, one symbol and one rule can only be possible through a strong constitution.

Shri Venkateshwara University celebrated the 77^th Republic Day with full enthusiasm.

Pro-Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted that because of the right to freedom, equality, education, and other fundamental rights enshrined in our constitution, India is the largest democracy in the world.

Moreover, the VC Dr KK Dave stated that because of the right to education (RTE) in our constitution a poor man’s child can avail free education at a top private school in the country.

Registrar Dr. Piyush Pandey stated every citizen can serve the nation in ways other than fighting at the border. By working honestly and without favoritism, they can help make India corruption-free.

Finally, Poet and senior literary figure Dr Madhu Chaturvedi recited patriotic poetry that touched the emotional chords of everyone present.

Those present included Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Rajwardhan Singh, Dr Vivek Sachan, Dr Shilpa Raina, Dr Shri Ram Gupta, HR Head Mr. Kuldeep, Alok Kumar, Dr Rahul Tyagi and Mr. Vikas Kaushik.

Moreover, Shakti Dhwaj Singh, SS Baghel, Arun Goswami, Sachin, Pritpal, Security Head Mr. Multani were all present.

From the Meerut Campus, the Director Operations, Dr Pankaj Kumar, Dr Rahul Sharma, Dr Nitin Raj Verma were all present along with the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others. Dr Rajwardhan conducted the program exceedingly well.
