Dhanteras Celebrations at VGI

Share

VGI is particular about celebrating all festivals with zeal. We celebrated Dhanteras with a rangoli competition at VGI. Four teams took part in the competition that included participants from SVU Gajraula.

The Deputy Registrar Mr. Nipun Tyagi conceived the idea & the Campus director Dr Prabhat Srivastava approved it for implementation.

The teams competed & showcased their talent by drawing excellent rangoli that were appreciated by all.

The judging committee comprising Campus director & other senior dignitaries were hard pressed in deciding the winner as it was a closely contested event.

Finally, after much deliberations, they announced the winners & rewarded them with a memo & citation.

We organize such events so that students value & respect their culture. Such events foster a feeling of belongingness & instills a competitive spirit among the participants.
