Varchasv 2026

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted Varchasv 2026, a 5 – days annual sports meet for the students of the School of Nursing.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the VC Dr KK Dave inaugurated the event by releasing pigeons and balloons and by lighting the sports torch.

Finance Director Yuvraj Singh and Nursing Dean Dr Ana Erik Brown joined them to unveil the 5-days annual sports meet–Varchasv 2026.

The School of Nursing students presented an excellent cultural program that made the event memorable.

This 5 day’s event will comprise javelin, kho-kho, tug of war, hockey, 100 m/200 m/5 Km race, obstacle race, relay, volley wall and over 2 dozen sporting events.

Over 1200 students from Red House, Green House, Yellow House and Blue House are taking part in various events.

On the first day, players took part in kabaddi, javelin, shotput, 100 meters, volleyball and a dozen events and proceeded to the next rounds. On Sunday, the chief guest will felicitate the winners by gifting them medals and citations.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that there is nothing like defeat in life or in any sporting event. Either we win or we learn something. Therefore, I urge the youth to take part in various competitions.

Moreover, Pro-Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted through revolutionary schemes like Khelo India and Fit India promoted by the honourable PMs Indian youth are showcasing their talents at national and international sporting events.

Moreover, those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Manjari Rana, Dr Manish Sharma, Dr Ashutosh Gautam, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Snehlata Goswami and Reena Joshi.

Maroof Chaudhary, SS Baghel, Sanjeev Kumar, Anusha Karnwal, Juhi Gupta, Indu Bala, Huma Kausar, Harpreet Kaur, Sumandeep Kaur, Alisha Edwards, Akhil Kumar, Anuj Sharma, Tehseer Alam and Shoaib Alam were all present. Also present were Jubair Alam, Dr Shri Ram Gupta and Shakti Dwaj Singh.

Moreover, from the Meerut campus, the Operations Director, Dr Pankaj Chaudhary, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
