Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted the Nurses Felicitation Function cum Oath Ceremony on the occasion of International Nurses Day 2025.
Nursing students and professionals at the School of Nursing at Shri Venkateshwara University pledged to offer selfless medical services.
On this occasion, we honoured the nursing staff for their exceptional work. We also hosted an international seminar on the theme- Our Nurses Our Future, Caring for Nurses strengthens economies.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, & the VC Dr KK Dave inaugurated the event by offering flowers on the statues of Florence nightingale and Goddess Saraswati.
Moreover, the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, & the Nursing Dean Dr Ana Erik Brown joined them to unveil the seminar, Nurses Felicitation Function cum Oath ceremony marking International Nurses day 2025.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated nursing is the most humane profession of the world.
Nurses play a vital role in patient care through their dedication, selfless devotion, and quality service. Moreover, their contributions to healthcare are just as important as those of doctors in providing care to the needy.

Shri Venkateshwara University celebrated International Nurses Day 2025 with a seminar and a Nurses Felicitation Function.
Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh from Delhi University & Dr Ana Erik Brown also addressed the national seminar held on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
Those present included Dr Manish Sharma, Dr S Walter, Dr Manjari Rana, Dr Smita, Anusha Karnwal, Pooja Ari, Neema, Pratibha & Sumandeep Kaur. The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
Dr Smita conducted the program brilliantly well.
