The role of a teacher is not only to impart knowledge but to counsel, motivate & guide students to realize their goals.

Further, teachers should be knowledgeable because their primary role is imparting knowledge fostering the academic development of the students.

Over the years, the role of a teacher has transformed because they teach students with varied learning curves.

Every child is unique & one method suits all approaches cannot work because teachers should ask probing questions that decodes understanding.

Moreover, Indians are hard pressed for marks because we value grades over understanding.

Teachers should foster comprehension because companies value people who can apply knowledge over those who have knowledge.

There have been countless discussions on the ability of teachers to foster understanding because real understanding fosters innovation vital for growth.

Further, teachers just finishing the syllabus are useless because conceptual understanding is the key.

A teacher imparting conceptual understanding is vital because this generates an interest in the subject.

Teacher’s failure to connect the topic with real life makes it boring, leading to a lack of interest among the students.

Further, teachers should prepare their topics with probing questions because it helps to clarify the concepts well.

While teaching, they should ask probing questions because this unravels the level of understanding among students.

Teachers should engage the entire class because every parent considers their child the best.

They should involve students in the learning process because students comprehend by practice rather than bookish knowledge.

They should enthusiastically conduct Science experiments because this creates a love for the subject.

Teacher’s inability to connect Science with real life is the main reason for a fear of Science.

Further, they should make topics engaging by applying Science in real life because it generates curiosity.

Role of a teacher for fostering innovation

Further, once students get curious, they learn by heart, thus fostering invention. Likewise, India desperately needs innovators & scientists who can develop cost effective technology.

The Covaxin discovery proves we have the potential to innovate, which should be nurtured, leading to prosperity.

Teachers should consider the syllabus complete when all have understood the concept, not when they have covered the topic.

Their ability to foster understanding is the primary role of a teacher because real understanding is crucial for successful careers.

Further, teachers should recognize unique talents by involving in curricular activities because schools are the breeding ground for them.

This fosters the holistic development of the students & mitigates inhibition to become confident professionals.

If a student cannot score well in Math’s & science, then the teacher should devise a study plan & clarify their doubts because it’s their job.

The profile of teachers is challenging, demanding commitment & dedication because they nurture the future of the country.

Teachers should use weekends to prepare, because strong preparation is crucial for grasping the concepts. Further, they should do quizzes, & class competitions that foster understanding and create an interest in the subject.

Students admire teachers who involve them in the learning process because experiential learning fosters understanding.

Further, once they have covered a topic, they should organize contests telling the level of understanding because it’s a proper test of their teaching skills.

The role of a teacher is to harness unique talents based on the students’ aptitude. They should encourage sports persons to pursue it as a career because star performers earn fame and money.

Apart from teaching, their primary role is to recognize the hidden talent & encourage them to pursue it because we perform well in things we do with passion.

Teachers build a prudent society

A teacher teaches all other professions. They should empathize with slow learners so that students approach them whenever in doubt. They have mastered the subject by teaching for years, while a class 12th student studies 5 subjects & tries to score well in all of them.

Students are under tremendous pressure to perform because there is tough competition to get into good colleges. They expect teachers to simplify the topics for understanding because teachers are their role model.

Teachers should also correct students who are traversing on a wrong path because they nurture their academic, moral & social development. They should educate them to become responsible members of the society because a prudent society builds a developed society.
