Nursing Courses after 12th Arts

ANM & GNM are the nursing diploma courses that students of any stream can pursue after 12th. These courses enable Non-Science students to enter the challenging world of nursing & healthcare.

GNM stands for General Nursing & Midwifery while ANM is Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery. GNM is of 3 years while ANM takes 2 years to complete.

BSc Nursing courses after intermediate

BSc (Nursing) is a 4 years nursing course after 12th empowering students to enter the world of Nursing & healthcare. Only Science students (PCB) with a minimum of 45% percent marks are eligible to pursue BSc Nursing.

Minimum age should be 17 Yrs. and maximum age should cannot be more than 35 yrs and the candidate has to submit medical fitness certificate. 5% relaxation to SC/ST candidates.

GNM nursing course after 12th arts

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a 3 year course that can be pursued after passing 12th with a minimum of 40% marks.

Students of all streams of Science/Arts/Commerce can pursue GNM, though Science is preferable. The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has allowed students from Non Science streams to pursue nursing as it’s a job oriented and related to healthcare.
