Ramniwas Shastri inaugurated the event by performing Arti and lighting a lamp to Goddess Durga and Saraswati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this, the students and staff performed Dandia and Garbha dance on popular folk and Bollywood songs that made the event memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/management-commerce.php\">Venkateshwara Group<\/a> Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that during Navratri, Dandia is not just a dance but a symbol of women&#8217;s empowerment when Goddess Durga defeated demon Mahishasur in the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, Dr Sudhir Giri extended his warm wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of Navratri and Dusshera and called Navratri a religious and cultural function. For centuries, women have been respected and revered in India and will remain revered forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, asserted that Dandia dance marks the win of good over evil.
