Shri Venkateshwara University<\/a>, VGI Meerut<\/a>, VIMS Multispecialty Hospital, and the UP Forest Department partnered to conduct a tree plantation drive and environmental protection rally as part of the Mega Tree Plantation Campaign 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, this campaign is being run under the scheme – A tree in the name of mother-2.0. The participants appealed all to plant more trees and strive for a Polythene Free India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Venkateshwara Group<\/a> Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi and the CG Mr. Surya Prakash Pal inaugurated the event by planting trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

District Head Udaygiri Goswami, and the VC Dr KK Dave joined them to unveil the tree plantation drive marking the Mega  Tree Plantation campaign 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university, forest officials, and students planted trees. These included banyan, Parijat, Tulsi, gooseberry, neem, Jamun, Rudraksha, and bail. They aimed to protect the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also felicitated a dozen nature lovers who regularly plant trees and conserve nature by gifting them shawl and mementos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Venkateshwara Group<\/a> Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated lets pledge to gift plants during social events like birthday, marriage anniversary, naming ceremony etc. and help realize honorable PMs Dream of Clean India\u2013Green India. This way we all can contribute towards national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, while addressing a seminar on Eliminate plastic pollution-Save the environment asserted the primary reason for global warming and climate change is that educated and sophisticated people are getting away from nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should all work for nature conservation and protection, then only development is possible without destruction. We should completely discard plastic from our daily lives, only then we can save Mother Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mega tree plantation is the only effective solution to curb global warming and prevent environmental pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shri Venkateshwara University took part in the Mega Tree Plantation Campaign 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chief Guest and State Minister, UP Govt. Mr. Surya Prakash Pal affirmed the Venkateshwara Group is known not only for providing quality education but also for taking active part in social causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this initiative, they are planting 10000 saplings in the Meerut and Moradabad region, which is a commendable work by the Venkateshwara Group. Let\u2019s all join hands to make India a heaven on earth through the green revolution. Mr. Surya Prakash Pal is the UP State Minister for Backward Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further said Green India- Clean India will have a major role in realizing the dream of Viksit Bharat 2047.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

District BJP Head Shri Udaygiri Goswami emphasized that the honourable PM and the UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanathji Ji have transformed the Mega Tree Plantation campaign 2025 into a green revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, BJP Leader Himanshu Tyagi, Dr Ashutosh, Dr Ana Erik Brown, Dr Suman, Dr Arti Bhardwaj, Dr Vivek Sachan and Dr Shri Ram Gupta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Om Prakash Gosai, Dr Ashwini Saxena, Dr Mohit Sharma, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Ram Kumar, Dr Anil Jaiswal, Dr Rajwardhan, SS Baghel, Arun Goswami, Maroof Chaudhary were all present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
