A teacher commands huge respect because they make the topic easier to understand for the learner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teacher works in a variety of roles like primary teacher, Trained Graduate teacher and Post Graduate teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CTET 2025 official notification will be released on the official website <a href=\"https:\/\/ctet.nic.in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ctet.nic.in<\/a>. OR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam securing a minimum of 45 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years\u2019 duration). UPTET paper 1 for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1-5 and UPTET Paper 2 for those who wish to teach from classes (6-8). PGTs can compete for KVS recruitment without CTET qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KVS conducts an all India computer based selection test for short-listing candidates for 15000 tentative vacancies of teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The written test comprises 180 questions to be attempted in 180 minutes, comprising 180 marks in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection weightage: 70% weightage is given to marks achieved in the written test, followed by a demo test that has 15% weightage and a final interview that has further 15% weightage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the above selection weightage criteria, a merit list is prepared of shortlisted candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CTET is compulsory for candidates applying for PRT &amp; TGT posts in KV schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifying Marks:&nbsp;Candidates must score at least 60% (90 out of 150) for the general category to be eligible for teaching positions in KVS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum score is 55% (82 out of 150). Here\u2019s a breakdown:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 <strong>Principal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Master\u2019s Degree from a recognized Institution \/ University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Must have at least 7 years\u2019 experience in which a minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience is required as Vice Principal1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OR PGT or Lecturer in Central\/State or Autonomous organization with 8 years of regular service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OR Having 15 years of experience as PGT and TGT where a minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience is required as PGT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two years Integrated Post Graduate Degree from a regional college of education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized university in their relevant field OR Master\u2019s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university in the concerned subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B.Ed degree for those who have not undergone 4 years integrated course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proficiency in English and Hindi is a must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TGTs (Trained Graduate Teachers):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized university in their relevant field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OR Bachelor\u2019s Honors Degree with at least 50% in all the concerned subjects or Bachelor\u2019s Degree with at least 50% in all 3-year degree course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passed the CTET Exam conducted by CBSE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B.Ed.
