{"id":5580,"date":"2024-09-02T08:40:26","date_gmt":"2024-09-02T08:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/?p=5580"},"modified":"2024-09-02T08:41:01","modified_gmt":"2024-09-02T08:41:01","slug":"educational-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/news\/educational-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The students of <a href=\"https:\/\/venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/news\/orientation-program-for-the-1st-year-students\/\">Venkateshwara Group of Institutions<\/a> Meerut embarked on a special educational tour to visit Amrit Udyan &amp; India Gate on August 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, along with the Academic Dean Dr Abhishek Swami, provided valuable guidance for organizing this educational tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Abhishek Swami flagged of the tour from the college premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>40 students, along with 5 faculty members, took part in the Rashtrapati Bhavan\u2019s Amrit Udyan tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, Dr Kiran Tomar HOD CCSU courses informed the garden has over 150 different varieties of roses, daffodils, Asian Lily, tulip and other ornamental flowers that grow in an area of 15 acres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Piyush Prateek, Himanshu Goswami, Ritu Joshi and Archana Siwach were the other faculty members who took part in the tour, along with Dr Kiran Tomar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students watched the greenery &amp; beauty of the garden that improved their awareness about nature. They learnt about the different varieties of plants, their conservation &amp; role in environmental balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this, the students visited India Gate, where they learnt about the sacrifices of the freedom fighters during our independence movement. This augmented their patriotic feeling &amp; knowledge about India\u2019s freedom struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This educational tour not only taught students about our rich cultural &amp; historical heritage but also informed them about nature conservation &amp; the martyred freedom fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the <a href=\"https:\/\/svu.edu.in\/school-of-agriculture-sciences.php\">educational<\/a> tour proved knowledgeable &amp; inspirational for the students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The students of Venkateshwara Group of Institutions Meerut embarked on a special educational tour to visit Amrit Udyan &amp; India Gate on August 31.
