The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions<\/a> Meerut hosted a faculty cricket tournament at its campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Total 4 teams took part in the faculty cricket tournament. Faculty members from the education department, Pharmacy, SVU<\/a> Faculty & the Admission Marketing team took part in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Venkateshwara Group<\/a> Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & having a formal introduction with the players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, sports make a person strong, confident & competent. They not only foster mental & physical development but also play a major role in developing a strong moral character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted Indian sports persons are realizing their passion by dedicating themselves to games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through their focus, hard work, dedication and determination, they have earned a respectable place in society. I advise all to spare some time for sports every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, affirmed players who have a passion for sports, team spirit and who support other players are in fact good sports persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the opening match between B.Ed & Pharmacy teams, Pharmacy won the match by 9 wickets. Dheeraj Kataria was adjudged the man of the match for excellent performance.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission Marketing Team & SVU Faculty came face to face for the 2nd match of the tournament. Admission Marketing Team defeated the SVU Faculty convincingly by 50 runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Jitendra Pal became the Man of the Match for his extraordinary performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the final was played between Admission Marketing Team & Pharmacy which was a close finish with Admissions team finally defeating Pharmacy by 3 wickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty Cricket Tournament at VGI Camus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ankit Kumar Chokker was the Man of the Match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Jitendra Pal won the best Batsman of the series award while Mr Dheeraj Kataria won the best bowler of the series award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The college management felicitated the winning team players by gifting them medals & trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principals Dr. Sanjay Tiwari and Dr. Nitin Raj Verma, along with Brajpal Singh, Deepak Kumar, Coordinator Abhinav Rana, Pradeep Sharma, Vinay, Gaurav Kumar, Arun Kumar, Rohit, Ravi, and the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana, all played a commendable part in organizing the event.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
