After completing BSc Nursing, graduates have the option to pursue further studies, such as MSc in Nursing or a postgraduate diploma in Nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They can do an MBA in Hospital Management because nurses very well understand the working of hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, they can pursue an MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Finance or HR and manage different operations of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They can become a Nursing Officer in the Military Nursing Services through the Short Service Commission. The notification comes every November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Female candidates who have qualified four year degree in nursing with a minimum height of 152 cm are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They should apply at www. Indianarmy.nic.in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Army calls the candidates for a three phase selection process which includes:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. An online written test of 90minutes that has questions on Nursing, English and General Intelligence. They hold the exam in the first week of September every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Results of the written exam are available in 14 days, based on which they call the candidates for an interview in Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Candidates who have cleared the interview are required to undergo a medical in a military hospital. Standards for the medical examination are the same as that for all military officers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some entry-level nursing positions include Nurse, Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Home health nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
