{"id":3564,"date":"2023-06-07T05:45:58","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T05:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/?p=3564"},"modified":"2023-08-07T03:58:42","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T03:58:42","slug":"world-environment-day-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/news\/world-environment-day-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"World Environment Day 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/svu.edu.in\/about-venkateshwara-university.php\">Shri Venkateshwara University<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/index.php\">VGI<\/a> Meerut commemorated the World Environment Day 2023 with a Grand Plantation Drive &amp; Environment Awareness Rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with the UP Forest Department, we hosted a seminar wherein the speakers appealed to plant more trees and make India polythene free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/index.php\">Group<\/a> Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Senior IFS Officer Mr SP Singh, &amp; the Forest Department Senior Police Officer Mr. Amit Rathi inaugurated the event by offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with the UP Forest department, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/index.php\">Venkateshwara Group<\/a> planted over 5000 plants in both the campuses &amp; the national highway &amp; pledged to protect &amp; promote them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These included Banyan, Parijat, Tulsi, Gooseberry, Neem, Jamun, Rudraksh and many types of plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, on the occasion of World Environment day 2023, we felicitated over a dozen constables, forest guards, rangers, DFOs, &amp; Inspectors by presenting them a shawl &amp; memento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/index.php\">Group<\/a> Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated it\u2019s a wonderful coincidence that today is the birthday of our honourable CM, Mr. Yogi Adityanath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, to achieve PM\u2019s mission of a clean India Green India, we should make it a habit to present plants on social occasions such as marriage &amp; anniversary. This way we play our part in nation development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior IFS Mr. SP Singh asserted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/index.php\">Venkateshwara Group<\/a> is renowned for offering quality education &amp; its social obligations.
